Decked with Union Jacks a plenty and despite the customary
Bank Holiday weather the event was a great success, with
the hall packed to capacity.
The Jubilee quiz went down well and once again the projector and big screen came into their own allowing us to play the National Anthem at the start of the event and then follow the action on the Thames.
A great time had was had by all!

27/07/2012 Olympics Opening Ceremony
Opening the doors at 7:30pm, slightly earlier than the BBC 9:00pm scheduled start we
sat down to enjoy an Olympic themed quiz, before firing up the big screen for the main
event.
We all watched eagerly in anticipation for the much publicised event that would showcase the best that Britain had to offer and we weren’t disappointed.
There was silence as the green and pleasant land gave way to its industrial successor and a collective sound of awe as the Olympic rings were forged and rose into the sky.
The kids of coursed missed everything preferring the party blowers that were out on the tables.
We partied into the night along with Team GB!
